Innovation. Connection. Collaboration.

Born from a simple yet powerful realization—no therapy is truly transformative unless it reaches the patient—the ICE-T (Immune Cell Effector Therapies) Symposium was created to bridge the widening gap between innovation and access. As revolutionary treatments like CAR-T cells, bispecifics, tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs), and gene therapies emerged, their promise extended far beyond hematologic cancers, reshaping the treatment landscape for solid tumors and autoimmune diseases alike. But while the science surged ahead, a critical divide remained: therapies often reached the academic bedside but not the patient’s home. ICE-T was envisioned as the conduit—where cutting-edge science meets community care. A collaboration between Dr Nausheen Ahmed, Dr Al-Ola Abdallah and Dr Zahra Mahmoudjafari, the inaugural symposium launched in Kansas City in 2024 with a singular mission: to unite academic and community oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurses, and allied professionals in a shared commitment—to bring life-saving immunotherapies not just from bench to bedside, but from cancer centers to communities.
